St Columba College is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Georgy Jureidini as the new Director of Student Life. Georgy will join the College early in Term 3.

Georgy brings a wealth of leadership and teaching experience to the role, having served in key positions at Seymour College over the past decade. Most recently, she was Head of Barr Smith Campus, equivalent to Head of Secondary, and has previously held roles including Head of Middle School, Head of Humanities, and Dean of Academic Administration. She has led a broad range of curriculum and wellbeing initiatives, including Positive Psychology programs that focus on student development and pastoral care.

Before beginning her career in education, Georgy worked as a lawyer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Flinders and Adelaide University and a Bachelor of Law from the Australian National University.

Her appointment follows a highly competitive selection process, where she impressed the panel with her depth of experience and her passion for making a meaningful contribution to the St Columba College community.

Georgy’s leadership philosophy is strongly aligned with our mission to support the holistic growth of every student. We are confident she will be a valuable addition to our team as we continue to expand and enrich the Student Life program at the College.
