Year 7 Science
Students in Year 7 Science will start by studying Habitats and Interactions, focusing on ecosystems and species relationships. They will then delve into Investigating Science, Particle Theory, and Separating Mixtures, learning about the composition of matter and methods of separation. Finally, they will explore Forces and Gravity. Assessment tasks include projects on invasive species, food webs, and forces, along with investigations on mixture separation, designing a ramp for a granny, and space tomatoes.
