Year 6 Mathematics

In Semester 1 of Year 6 Mathematics, students develop their proficiency in the conversion between fractions, decimals and percentages. In Semester 2, students will begin working with shapes and coordinates within the Cartesian plane. Year 6 students will be assessed on their learning through a variety of Skills and Applications Tasks, including: Tests, Collaborative Tasks and Rich Mathematical Tasks.
