Year 10 English Literary Studies
This elective prepares students for the analytical rigour of English Literary Studies by exploring how powerful texts have shaped ideas, challenged beliefs, and left lasting cultural impact. Students will engage deeply with a central model text examining its language, context, and legacy. Through critical reading, comparative analysis, and creative transformation, students will develop their ability to think critically, write analytically, and create with purpose. This course is ideal for students who love literature, enjoy deep thinking, and want to understand how texts influence the world past and present.
